New Era Dianetics for OTs

A Final Word

New Era Dianetics for OTs

Did David Mayo have anything to do with the development of NOTS?

David Mayo had nothing to do with the technical developments that became New Era Dianetics for OTs. David Mayo himself has not made this claim in years.

In 1985, a preliminary injunction was obtained prohibiting Mayo from in any way using or disseminating the upper level materials that had been stolen by a group of squirrels, including Robin Scott. The judge found his testimony “not credible” and described Mayo as “not a credible witness” – a judicial way of calling him a liar. (See “Court document”)

Mr. Hubbard’s comments about Mayo were given in the issue “The Story of a Squirrel.” Mayo was already expelled and out of Scientology by the time Mr. Hubbard wrote his fingerprinted declaration to the Riverside Court expressing his support of RTC. So his comments in “The Story of a Squirrel” are consistent with his viewpoint expressed in that 1983 Declaration and in RJ 38.
