A Final Word

Ron’s Journal 38

Is the voice on Ron’s Journal 38 really L. Ron Hubbard?

Yes, it is. Mr. Hubbard’s statements about RTC on RJ 38 are entirely consistent with those in his 1983 Declaration to a court in Riverside, California, and were made just a few months later.

This Declaration, of May 15, 1983, was signed and fingerprinted by Mr. Hubbard on every page. http://freezone.najbjerg.info/dokumentation/lrh_affidavit

In addition, a special type of date-sensitive ink was used in writing the Declaration which was separately authenticated, the point being that the Declaration was written and signed subsequent to May 7, 1983. (See "Brunelle affidavit")

In the Declaration, Mr. Hubbard expressed his full support of Religious Technology Center. The Court to which this Declaration was submitted ruled that it had been written by Mr. Hubbard and that his affairs were being taken care of to his satisfaction. The Court threw out a financially motivated effort to seize his estate. http://freezone.najbjerg.info/dokumentation/lrh_affidavit/atct_album_image?b_start=0

In RJ 38, Mr. Hubbard made some key statements:

  • He condemned the failed power push against International Management, in other words, the very individuals that the Freezoners promote.
  • He repeated that he had made a free gift of the trademarks to Religious Technology Center (RTC)
  • He described RTC as “the major driving force behind handling squirrel groups internationally.”

He also described international management in these words: “Very probably this team is the first truly competent independent management Scientology has ever had.”

Did Mr. Hubbard hand over his trademarks to RTC?

Yes, he did. This is confirmed by his fingerprinted 1983 Declaration to the Court in Riverside. http://freezone.najbjerg.info/dokumentation/lrh_affidavit
